SB 165, which had sought to legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia in Nevada, passed out of the Senate Health Committee, but did not meet the legislative deadline for passage in the full Senate.
The bill is dead for 2019.

SB 261, a bill that would have legalized assisted suicide and euthanasia, has died with the close of Nevada's legislative session. The bill passed the Senate in an 11 to 10 vote.
